Fulbright Honors taught and encouraged me not to be afraid to go for it. Whether “it” was studying abroad (twice!), taking electives way outside of my main coursework, presenting at a conference, or doing a virtual internship with Princeton, I was always supported (financially and morally) by the amazing people in Fulbright Honors. My perspective on life is dramatically different now, and I owe it to my increased affinity of trying new things.

There were some days when I felt like I would never get through school – I would never finish my thesis, never pass a final, never get into law school – and my dad told me that I can’t eat an elephant all at once. College is big, and honors classes can be hard work. I was stressed looking at my schedule for the semester, but I had to break everything into manageable chunks. When I did that, everything seemed more achievable, and I could focus on doing my best.
